I’ve been told I’m a ‘hard stick’ — I have deep veins, and they roll. It takes multiple attempts, rooting around with the needle in the back of my hand, before most phlebotomists are successful in drawing blood from me. Sharae drew blood from me on the first attempt — from my arm, no less! — and she accomplished this feat during each subsequent visit. I can count the number of people who can do that on one hand. Sharae is always punctual, professional, and pleasant. She comes to my home, which is extremely helpful, because it’s difficult for me to go out. I was sooo nervous to get my 10month olds blood drawn and on edge just all over the place but my phlebotomist came in and calmed my nerves and was so focus. I arrived early so I could take care of some personal matters online before my appointment but mostly to ensure I was not going to be late for my appointment. The waiting room was so welcoming with the interior design and I was very comfortable working. It was also clean, making my personal work easy to focus on until my appointment. Sharae is a professional and very skilled at her work. She made me feel comfortable and I barely felt the needle. I can speak with some authority about this because I've had my blood drawn numerous times in my nearly 69 years and over half of those blood draws were awful. So I hope you value and appreciate her because she's the employee your company needs.

Phlebotomy on Wheels was amazing. They were helpful when I called to schedule my appointment, clarifying some things that I had questions about after receiving the kit in the mail from the lab company. She called before she came, got here as expected, and was nice as could be as she worked. She was done in about 10 minutes. I am so grateful that I didn't even have to leave the house! The young lady who provided services was EXCELLENT. From the initial phone call, I was met with professionalism, courtesy and thorough explanation of the entire process. She called (as stated during the initial call) when she was on her way and arrived at the exact time stated. She successfully completed her task in minutes for someone who has previously been classified as a “hard stick”! I told her that I’d like to request her to provide services every time. On July 27,2016, Phlebotomy On Wheels came to our home to do blood work on my mother. My mother is home bound under Holy Cross Hospice. Sharae was very attentive, compassionate and very gentle. She first asked questions regarding my mother’s behavior and demeanor. She talked to mom, massage her arm and spoke to her very softly. Sharae was successful in inserting the needle and getting the tube full without my mom making a sound. My mom did not scream or cry. The process was a complete success for all.

I am classified as a hard stick – my veins are very small, and they roam. All the phlebotomists I have had before Sharae would stick me 3 and 4 times (ouch) before hitting a vein. Sharae would stick me only once, hit the vein, and no “ouch” at all. She is gentle, professional, and extremely nice. Out of 5 stars, I give Phlebotomy on Wheels 5 stars.

During the months of March and April 2016, I was under the home care of Holy Cross Hospital Home Care Service as a result of major surgery. As a result of being confirmed to home, I needed to have blood drawn every two weeks . That service was provided by Phlebotomy On Wheels. Sharae was always on time for the appointments, professional, courteous, and patient with me. She was able to perform her duties with minimal discomfort to me .
